Problem Note 53485: After upgrading Adobe Flash Player, the SAS® Collection Portlet and the SAS® Navigator portlet might fail to open content

DetailsAboutRate It

After you upgrade Adobe Flash Player, the SAS Collection Portlet and the SAS Navigation Portlet might fail to open content. Specifically, the links might not respond at all, or you might see the following error:

SecurityError: Error #3769

This problem is caused by changes to Flash Player.

As a workaround, you can change the display interface for SAS® BI Portlets from Flash mode to HTML mode. In HTML mode, the portlets render as HTML portlets instead of as Flash portlets. An HTML portlet does not look the same as a Flash portlet, but the underlying functionality is the same.

For information about how to change the display interface, see the topic "Display Interface for SAS BI Portlets" in the SAS Intelligence Platform: Web Administration Guide. You can find a link to the guide on the SAS® Intelligence Platform Product Documentation page. Click the tab for your release of SAS®, and then look under "Administration Documentation."
